Every student aims to perform well in their academics. In Pakistan, especially, students are very dedicated to their academics. Such students, if in difficult financial conditions, aim to obtain scholarships to continue their education.

Everyone knows that scholarships are awarded to students who have outstanding academic performance. The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is no different. Here are the eligibility criteria for scholarships for SSC and HSSC (matric and intermediate) in FBISE:

  1. Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in their annual examinations. Marks for supplementary exams will not be considered.

  2. Candidates who clear (pass) the FBISE annual exams in the first attempt and join a college or university in the same year will be considered eligible.

  3. The scholarship will only be continued if the candidate continues to obtain high marks and maintains good conduct throughout college/university.

  4. The scholarship on the basis of SSC results will be awarded for a period of two years (24 months) to the candidate who has taken admission in HSSC or equivalent classes. But, if the student takes admission in 3 years course or more, the period of the scholarship will be for the full duration of that course.
